William Blodgett House : ウィキペディア英語版 | William Blodgett House
The William Blodgett House is a historic house at 11 Fairmont Avenue in Newton, Massachusetts. The 2-1/2 story wood frame house was built c. 1875 and is an excellent representation of Stick style architecture. It has irregular massing and a wealth of ornate woodwork on its porches, eaves, and gable ends. It was built by William Blodgett, a Boston carpet merchant, and typifies the upper-class suburban residences built in Newton during the post-Civil War years.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NRHP nomination for William Blodgett House )〕 The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, where it is listed at 645 Centre Street.〔 ==See also==
